Last December, the Watch channel rebroadcast Derren Brown's TV special, Something Wicked this Way Comes, at 9 AM -- and some people are not amused.
As reported in the Guardian, airing a show that features Derren suffocating himself with a plastic bag over his head violated Ofcom's broadcast rules. The show should not, allegedly, have been shown before 9 pm.
UKTV, which owns the Watch channel, says the program was aired accidentally. So far, I have not seen any reports of children suffocating themselves with bags after watching the show. I should also note that this is not the first time Derren has received Ofcom complaints (recall Russian Roulette, Seance, the railroad stunt, etc, etc).
