Honestly, I am a little disappointed that DB did not surprise us. I was looking forward to giving free copies of my forthcoming biography of Derren to the 70+ people who participated in my prediction challenge.
Keep watching this blog, though. Between now and the book's projected publication date (March 25), I will likely provide another opportunity to win a copy.

Ha! Yes, I'm glad the whole thing's over because I've had camera crews following dozens of blogs, and the cost really adds up.
I enjoy watching Derren Brown and am a little disappointed he came up with this...it's a con scam tipsters have been doing for donkeys' years. Still would have liked to have seen it tho! (I'm overseas at the mo) Damn!

I had to wait a few days to see it myself (because I'm in the U.S.). Even though I knew what was coming, it was a lot of fun.
I agree that the gambling scheme was disappointing (not in the same league as "the Heist," for example), but Derren Brown is an amazing performer. He can make any trick - even an old one - seem new and interesting.
